Rinse the beef tenderloin and pat dry with a paper towel. Rub the olive oil over the tenderloin and coat the meat with the Herbs de Provence, Garlic Powder, Sea Salt, and Black Pepper. Place the seasoned beef tenderloin in a stainless steel or glass roasting pan, cover the pan with plastic wrap, and marinate the tenderloin in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours (overnight is better).
Remove the plastic wrap and roast the tenderloin uncovered in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes for medium – 145 degrees internal temperature on your meat thermometer.
