Wash chicken breast and pat dry with towel. Cut the chicken breast in half length wise to form cutlets. This will speed up the cooking time. Apply about 2 Tbsp. of the Spice Bouquet seasoning of your choice to the cutlets on both sides. You can adjust the amount of seasoning to taste if you desire. Place about 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil in a frying pan. Add the chicken cutlets to the pan, sear on both sides until nicely browned. Add ¼ cup of the chicken soup base to pan. Cover with lid and cook chicken thoroughly over medium heat.
*This recipe works very well with the following Spice Bouquet Seasonings:
Carolina Bay Seasoning
Cajun Dry Rub
Asian Dry Rub
Soul Seasoning
Steak Spice
Mexican Dry Rub
Jamaican Jerk Dry Rub
Caribbean Dry Rub
Greek Dry Rub
You can adjust the “heat” with any of these seasonings by adding some Spice Bouquet Cayenne Pepper to the other dry seasonings before you apply them to the chicken cutlets.
Note: The chicken soup base for this recipe is double strength. Normal usage of the product is 1 tsp. to 1 Cup of water.
